Arkhat’s area of interest includes subsurface rock and fluid mechanics. He has worked as a Wireline Logging Engineer with Halliburton in Saudi Arabia for 3 years, performing such services as quad-combo, borehole imaging, well integrity logs independently and NMR logging, dielectric logging, radial cutting torch under supervision on wireline, drill-pipes both onshore and offshore. His professional experience also involves lab-technician and research assistantship positions within R&D Department of KazTransOil JSC, where he was tackling flow assurance issues of heavy and high paraffin crudes in pipelines. He is passionate about football and watches UEFA Champions League every season, even though it is a lunch time in Colorado. Also, he is notorious for eating horse meat.
